Merry Christmas and Happy Yule, y'all

with any luck we will be out of here for a few days to have a little time with our three-I league of a family. (Iowa, Illinois and Indiana). We were told to stay home due to weather today. Last I looked Peoria is getting pelted with freezing rain.
So Mrs. Lib and I are sitting by the fires and watching some Xmas movies.
We got a truly unexpected and truly wonderfully heartfelt card and small gift from a couple of our mentees. Stuff like that that really makes great Christmas memories.
Someday I will have to write out a few Christmas memories since strange stuff seems to happen to our family. Like the time I bought my newly wed wife an empty box for Christmas. She was really impressed. I can still see the look on her face.

1. Mein Frau is in Florida visiting my ever-opinionated SIL and

I am here finishing up Christemass cards. I will meet my wife as she flies in Thursday night and then off to Ames for our one day late family Yule gathering. I have been dodging the vile weather by doing this since the creepiest weather seems to be reserved for those keeping a normal holiday. They say God does not give us anything we can't handle but Uff Da!
