Will Steve King primary out Sen. Grassley? |
|
< http://www.dailykos.com/story/2009/1/24/2252/77119/681/687838> In a thread from this past weekend a rumor is gaining steam that perhaps the far-right of the political establishment is getting pitch forks in hand for the Senator who asked religious leaders to show why they are tax exempt. This could get interesting. Anyone heard any gossip?

1. Man we can only hope so |

If King actually does this, and Grassley beats him back, then King may be gone forever. And if King would actually pull off an upset, the Dems could likely take the seat easily. Senator Culver anyone?

3. I thought King was considering running for Governor. |

Granted, Culver's made some obvious mistakes, but there'd be no way on God's green earth that King beats Culver.
Which is, of course, the exact reason why I want to see King run for higher office.
