Iowa DCI investigated threats against lawmaker

I know this is somewhat old news, but I just learned of this story just a few moments ago. The DCI has investigated http://www.desmoinesregister.com/article/20090312/NEWS10/903120376/-1/ENT06">phone and email threats against Rep. Ray Zirkelbach (D-Monticello).

When Zirkelbach said that House File 170 - concerning child support and disability payments for vets - and several other veteran related bills wouldn't pass this year a guy named Jere Beery decided to make phone and email threats against Zirkelbach.

Disgusting. Zirkelbach is a vet himself, and was hurt as a result of his service. No matter what, neither he or any other lawmaker of any party should have to endure this sort of crap.
