Davenport. 4th and Main, in front of Braley's office, more or less. Noon-2PM CR. Aluminum Tree downtown. 11:30-12:30. I have no idea what the Aluminum Tree is, I just copy info. Iowa City. Burlington St. Bridge. 11:30-12:30. So there you have it. I'd give you a link, but they don't really need the hits, imo. I can't go. I have a job. For some strange reason, my boss actually expects me to show up at the job. What next, will they expect me to do some work? :) On edit- I suppose you already know this, but these um, gatherings, are all on April 15. And if you come to Davenport, bring some money for the parking meters. No free parking downtown.

I might want to see what's happening on this side of the state. (I haven't been to the zoo lately)

7. Thanks - I found it elsewhere too. Here's an irony. |

Over here they are going to do this on the Bob Kerrey pedestrian bridge.
I'm sure that'll piss them off even more; having to stand on a bridge named after a Democrat. :)

I think the reference to the Aluminum Tree in C.R. is the large artistic work right off I-380 down by the river. Just west of the Cellular Center. I've never been next to it myself, but see it when driving over the bridge.
Might be interesting....I have to think about this. I'm not sure I want any part of one of these things. I honestly haven't been reading the threads on these events or paying that much attention. What is the reason I would want to go???....just to observe? Take pictures??....I am curious because I seem to be out of the loop on these things.
Thanks for the info.??

I just got an email about it from a friend of the family and former client. I had dropped this person as a client after some ridiculous statements made during our last meeting. I was feeling a little guilty about it, but not anymore. I don't need any more of teh stoopid in my life.

10. I attended the one in DM |

Even though the first speaker stated the rally was to be a non-partisan affair, it was clearly a partisan affair.. While they stated both republican's and democrat's were to blame, they didn't point on one republican candidate to chastise. And I have no idea why gay marriage came up time after time..
But it would appear that most of these people have been asleep for the past 8 years while the fiscally irresponsible Bush was in office..
