Just got a robocall from steve king |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-21-09 01:23 PM by Bluzmann57
It had to do with the evil homosexual marriage. When I picked up the phone and heard "Hi I'm representative Steve King", I almost hung up but a morbid curiousity kept me hanging on. The next question was if I was registerd to vote. Of course I replied, "yes". Then came the meat of the call. His recorded voice asked if I was against gay marriage, although it wasn't put in those words. I said I had no problem with gay marriage. His voice then thanked me and told me this call was made on behalf of the "defense of marriage" people. And then it was over. I copied the phone number and caller info from my caller id. Here it is. frnkcmpn 202-461-3452. I'm just trying to perform a public service here, so in case they call your house, you won't answer. I'm also thinking of contacting king and telling him that I HATE robocalls and especially robocalls like that. And I don't like him either. On edit- I did a search and these people are a hate group. The phone number and org. came up as "Hate Obama" The outfit is called National Organization for Marriage.

2. What the hell? What's he doing bugging your side of the state? |
|
He supposed to "represent" the 5th district, not your side of the state. For that matter what's he doing messing with a state affair at all. Maybe he wants his seat back in the Ia Senate?
I think I'll give his office a little call tomorrow and ask why he's not dealing with pregnant, gun-toting, drug-running, Mexicans instead.

11. I was going to ask Mr Offensive if he planned on running for Gov. |
|
But he never called on me at the town hall meeting. I guess I didn't have that glazed over look in my eyes like the rest of the ditto head crowd.
Go figure.

Edited on Tue Apr-21-09 06:57 PM by progressoid
Took me a while to make the connection. They tried to call my business line while I was out! I like this version of their "Gathering Storm" video better: A Gaythering Stormhttp://www.giantgayrepellentumbrella.com/2009/04/giant-gay-repellent-umbrella/:rofl: edited to add: is this where you found their identity? http://whocalled.us/lookup/2024613452It appears they've been busy.

7. Dang - I missed the call again! |
|
I just went to lunch and came back to hear they had left another message on my machine! According to the message, "We may call back later" Oh boy that will make my day complete. :grr:
Wonder where they get their phone list from. They've called my business line at least twice but never my home line. Odd.

8. I figured it was something to do with the Franken Campaign. |
|
But finally after 3 calls or more, Steve King left a robot message asking if we are registered to vote.
Kinda sucks to be in Iowa with a radical right wing nut.
