The political paper my granddaughter had to learn. |
|
I saw a copy of the paper she had to study. It covered Liberals, centrists, and cons.
It told them that liberals were for more government programs. Period.
Cons were for less taxes, smaller government, and more freedoms.
For some reason this has been bothering me all week. Cons are the only ones who constantly want to take away freedoms. Where the heck do they get this BS?

it's based on liberals wanting more regulations of business and wanting to use taxes to pay for projects. supposedly, conservatives dont like spending taxpayer money and think business markets should take care of themselves. All the above has since been proven wrong as far as blanket statements about both sides. Is that paper from the 80s or something?

3. Were it my progeny I would certainly discuss it with her. |
|
And I would also make an appointment with the teacher and perhaps the principal for a discussion.
