Anyone here going to the JJ dinner? |

We declined. We are looking to spend some time with our kids.

The annual big dinner in Des Moines for democrats. JJ stands for Jefferson-Jackson Day. I think many states have a JJ dinner at various times of the year. Ours is usually in November. It is the big fundraiser for the Iowa Democratic Party each year. This year's event is this Saturday Nov. 21. The headliner is VP Biden. Two years ago it was the showcase event prior to the Iowa caucuses. Tickets are @$100 apiece.

Have to work on Saturday so there is no time as I get off at 5PM. But if anyone else is going, hope you all have a good time.
