On this date in 1979
It was minus 22 degrees. For the high temp. 23 days in a row with negative temps. I hope to NEVER see that again.

1. In NW Iowa, it warmed up to -14 today -- after being -28 this morning.
Apparently it's too cold even for the Snowmobiler Crazies -- it's been blessedly quiet even with more than two feet of snow on the ground.

4. It was -4 here in scenic Jackson County.
I don't drink anymore so I can't really enjoy winter.
