Kiernan will be in Muscatine tomorrow. I think he is there to blunt a Terry show. Muscatine is the home of the republican money - David Stanley and Iowans for Tax Relief. Muscatine has been represented very well by democrat Nathan Reichert for 6 years. It also has 4 of 5 county supervisors that are democrats. This situation is just a thorn in republican eyes. Too bad, ain't it?

Annual Awards Night

Red Coach Inn Restaurant, Red Oak
The Honorable Governor Terry Brandstad will be the keynote speaking for the evening. Tickets are now available for $20 per person from any Association Board member or at the Association office, 307 E Reed Street.
The buffet will offer carved Roast Beef and Chicken Breast with parmesan sauce with sides of corn, green beans with bacon and onion, garlic roasted baby reds, tossed green salad, broccoli raisin salad, Oreo fluff, Jell-o salad, dinner roll, tea, water and coffee. A cash bar will also be available.
New this year: A raffle for 26 bottles of wine will take place during the evening. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $10 per ticket from any Association Board member or at the Association office, 307 E Reed Street. If you purchase 5 raffle tickets, you will receive 1 ticket FREE; if you purchase 10 raffle tickets, you will receive 2 tickets FREE.

I did however have a pleasurable evening in Red Oak last night.
My kid was in the SWIBA performance.
