Actually, it was clinched Friday night. Three individual champs. McDonough, Metcalf and Borschel. With UNI's huge upset, the UI women beating Rutgers and phony Steve Alford's overrated New Mexico team getting crushed, it was quite the scene inside The Sports Column in Iowa City...despite the kids being on spring break. I imagine there was a little celebration in Cedar Falls, also. All in all, a great day to be an Iowan.
