Does anyone know how the Repub's GOTV? |
|
I saw no activity on their side here. They're offices haven't been opened for the last week. We worked our a**es off and they still managed to come out ahead. Our state Senate candidate is only up by 38 votes out of 20,000. Our state Rep is 149 behind. This is or was a very blue county.
How the heck do they do it?

While we worked our asses off from late spring right up til 9PM on election night. We could only sporadic low levels of activity among local repubs. Yet our voters failed to turn out while theirs did. We are all curious how they did it. Our house candidate, an incumbent, lost to a real asshole bagger.

5. Maybe the repugs thought the robocalls were real ones! |

They are apparently that dense. Also the greed motive is always a strong one.

3. I rarely saw any GOP GOTV in 2000 either. |

But I think there is a different dynamic for each parties' voters. Unfortunately I don't think our rank and file was too energized this time.
Of course it helps when your party has a few extra million dollars flowing in from out of state to do the dirty work for you like they did.
