Marriage amendment
Congratulations to Kansas for passing the marriage amendment.
Now that we have protected the sanctity of marriage, let's finish the job. Let us strip people of their marriage rights if they are divorced.
Let us define marriage as a union between a man and a woman of the same race, ethnic background and religion.
Let us not recognize any union in any other state that does not meet our high, righteous standards.
Let us not recognize any union between a man and a woman, unless it is sanctioned in a house of the Christian God.
Let us protect our children by not allowing people convicted of felonies to have children.
Let us protect our children by not letting anyone with an IQ of less than 100 to breed.
Let us sterilize all parents who are convicted of child abuse. Why should they be allowed to reproduce if they mistreat the precious gifts of God they already have?

married same sex people passing through the state cannot stay at motels or hotels or eat at restaurants. Since God didn't create all people, they don't have to fill their gas tanks either.

This one was my favorite.
"Now that we have protected the sanctity of marriage, let's finish the job. Let us strip people of their marriage rights if they are divorced."
I think it would be fun to try and get this passed as an amendment. Let's see how serious everyone is about protecting the "sanctity" of marriage. Put up the exact same signs as this last election and talk about how we need to protect marriage. I bet it wouldn't even get close to 60% approval. What approval do you think it whould get? Would we get the backing of the churches?

4. The scary part is that this sounds good to many. I have a classmate who |
|
is all about passing covenant marriages, whereby one would have to sue for divorce and prove a reason for needing one. No more "no fault" divorces. She even went so far as to say that the only legal grounds for divorce should be physical abuse and MAYBE infedilty. ut one that one she said it would be case by case because the marital bed must be proved satisified before infedilty becomes grounds--whatever the hell that means!
These people are NUTS! You can not be outrageous and sarcastic because they love the ideas and have no idea you were not being serious.
