Bad news for Bush in the land o' beige.
Saw the 4:45 show, which was very full for a twilight show. Rumor from ticket buyers was that the Plaza theater was sold out all shows.
Spontanious applause for the line about Ashcroft being dumped by Missourians in favor of Mel Carnahan.
As we left, the line for the 7:30 show was already doubled back on itself.

Richmond checks in with a sold out 4:00 show. Don't know how the others did. Lots of applause, standing ovation at the end. There was local T.V coverage, a band playing on the sidewalk. Bad news for "W" in the Capital of the Confederacy."

(or at least very close to a sell out). And applause at that Asscroft line and the end of the movie. Lots of laughter at Bush throughout. Tears all around during the scene with the mother reading her son's letter. And I swear you could hear gasps at the start of the scene with the dead children.

Wichita is not the most liberal town in Kansas, but then again, neither is Liberal...
Good news!
