My letter to Dennis Moore

I'm a constituent and I'm angry about the news about Karl Rove. Blowing the cover of a CIA agent is serious business that hurts our national security. What is Congressman Moore going to do about Karl Rove?

I am sickened by the partisan politics exercised by Republicans in this matter. It is time for the Democrats to take a strong stand and insist that Pres. Bush keep his word and fire Karl Rove. They also should demand a Congressional investigation. Congress investigated Clinton's Christmas card list and his sex life; this breach of security by Karl Rove is far more serious.

Please share my sentiments with your Democratic colleagues.

4. I always get a good response from Moore

He won me over when he strongly supported increased funding for special ed programs. I have been writing my reps about that for almost 30 years. Moore was the first one who actually took on that cause.

I also wrote Roberts and Brownback. I told Brownback there was no way I could support his candidacy for prez if he does not take a stance on Rove. - Not that I would support him anyway, but he doesn't need to know that. LOL

How ya been?

Yes, I am on the activist corps. Check the Jo Co Sun tomorrow. I called Talk Back and left a comment about Rove. They have always printed my comments before so I have reason to believe they will print this one. It's a shitty little weekly paper (something about Steve Rose on the front page every week is rather nauseating) but I do read the Talk Back comments every week.

We are still discussing our next meetup. It is next week. Check the MO and KS boards. I will PM you when we make a decision. I hope you can make it. Our group has grown. And it's pretty lively. You would enjoy yourself.

he won't look at it anyway. If you have ever written you are on the ignore list. Roberts will respond though. He never agrees with me but he will respond. I can't remember, check his web site, but he will respond personally if you contact him a certain way. As much as I detest him you have to give him credit for that. Brownback? Never, and I know the man.

Roberts replies to most of my letters. Brownback rarely replies. Dennis Moore is the best - I always get an answer from him.

but I cannot remember for sure. I cannot stand hearing from any of those guys. I have an email from Ryun in my inbox that I am afraid to read. They lie right to you and trot out those spin points as if I am supposed to be totally ignorant and gullible. It just makes me mad to hear back from them.

have been truly nauseating form letters. Most of the time, there's no response.

I will also call/e-mail the people I know in their offices.

I'm always amazed at what I take for granted/common knowledge that they aren't aware of. I can't blame them though. To their credit Moore and his people are pretty busy actually talking to constituents, unlike Brownback & his staff who spend most of their time avoiding us.
