to support Congresswoman Barbara Lee's 'Resolution of Inquiry' introduced into the House on 7/21/05 regarding the Downing Street Memo. We need to let our voices be heard in Washington - especially to the REPUBLICAN side of the aisle - as to how important this issue is to ourselves and our nation.
As a former Kansan - I am counting on you to help bring some blue to my homestate. Thanks

I'm from El Dorado, KS originally. How's the weather there now? I'm in California - it's 62 degrees here and will warm up to the 80's I'm sure today.

5. FYI, here's the message I included |

It is imperative that we find out what this administration knew, who knew it and when they knew it. The credibility of the United States is at stake. Democracy thrives on truth and if this administration sent our young men and women to die while knowing that there were no weapons of mass destruction then they should be held accountable. There can be no greater crime against mankind than sending people needlessly to their deaths, not to mention that it has created a whole new generation emotionally damaged by war in more than one country.
I'm in Lawrence. Hot and (thankfully) reasonable humidity. According my local newspaper's website (ljworld.com) the current temp is 96.1, down from 99. Good weather for the tomatoes which are just starting to form on my plants.
Where in California? My best friend in the whole world (after my hubby) lives near the Napa Valley. I can never remember the name of the town. Something like Fairdale. Another buddy of mine, I've always called him Fisherman John, lives near Crescent City.

I'm in the SF Bay Area. Not that far from heavenly Napa and her wines.

My husband used to live out in California. He is always talking about how wonderful SF is, especially the food. He's promised to take me out there sometime. Not to mention that I want to see my best friend and in his habitat ;-) . He comes here once a year on the way to visit his parents but I've yet to visit him.
How'd an El Dorado kid end up in California?

Over 1700 of our soldiers have died in Iraq. I have two children who are of draftable age and I am not willing to sacrifice them for this war. This is the most important issue facing you as our elected representatives. PLEASE investigate this vigorously.
