But we did get to meet him and he is really nice. We also got to shake Anderson Cooper''s hand but meeting Ed Schultz was better.

5. Okay, so it wasn't just me |
|
Classes are starting and people around my neighborhood who moved in over the past few weeks are getting hooked up to cable/internet this week. This means periodic outages. Anyway I thought I dropped the connection because a couple of minutes later I was without the internet for a while.
I'm just glad you guys made it safe and sound. I'm also proud to know both of you for going. Just remember how many of us you represent.
Stay safe and keep us posted.
BTW, I would rather shake Ed's hand than Anderson's.

But I had to bite my tongue to keep from asking him if there were no hurricanes for him to cover this week.

technical difficulties. Proud talked to him just as we crossed into Texas and when we got to the Crawford Peace House his producer said he wanted to have us on his show. It was not to be. We did meet him at the vigil. Proud got his autograph with my pen that leaked ink all over his hand. Boy did I feel like a jerk. Oh well.

6. Just glad to know you made it |

Thanks for thinking of us.
Just as you crossed into Texas? Hmmm, as I recall there are several huge stores with giant "XXX" on their billboards just as you cross into Texas? So where were you two? LOL.
As for the ink on Ed's hand, well you do have a way of leaving a lasting impression. I'm sure he knows it wasn't your fault. Besides, we all know you're not a jerk and that's what counts.
Thank you for going. I wish I could go. You're real :patriot: :patriot:

8. The first thing you see |

as you cross the Red River. It always makes me laugh. Proud was on hold when I drove past that and she got in as we passed through Gainsville.
I wish you could have gone with us, all of you, but you know the spirit and wishes that you all send Cindy are being felt and heard and it really keeps them all going. They would do it anyway but it certainly makes it easier for them.
