I am nominating this for greatest page because when I got home last night, I logged on to DU and the first thing I saw was KANSAS BASHING!!

Damnit, we have an extremely active local meetup group. We meet ALL THE TIME, not just every couple months. Our group is growing by leaps and bounds. Yet we can't get DU to put our meetups on their home page and the community here seems to think bashing us is okay. I for one am sick of it.

Hey DUers, you don't have to live in a blue state to have progressive and liberal values. And we can party down as well as the rest of you in New Yawk and Californee and Seattle.

Missouri is so sickening the way they have kept the republican party in charge for so long. Maybe that will change before too long. I noticed the media here gave republicans free campaign photo ops. They would flash to Cheney, then take the cameras to the pictures on the wall showiwng Sam Graves, and other republicans. All at the taxpayers expense.

Gilmore was just under the weather. Possible stomach flu, something. She wasn't feeling too great anyway, then she ate that cajun food...


Me, I had something that was either a sinus issue or a hangover.

I had been drinking with the roommates the night before, but not really enough to get hung over. And I wasn't nauseated or anything else when I woke up. I just had a mean headache, the same one I wake up with every day. Otherwise, I felt fine.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next meetup and the next concert.

The only drag about this was that it wasn't really easy to do a lot of talking, since the music was so loud (but so good).
