4. By some stroke of

dumb blind luck, we purchased a house here in Overland Park nearly 16 years ago that never loses power during storms. Even in the big ones, the October snow storm and the two ice storms, we didn't lose at all. I know I'm lucky, and it will be a major selling point whenever we go to sell this place.
