DU potluck & fireworks at the Hollow 7/4

It isn't a full-blown Hollow party but there will be fireworks, a bon fire, grill and eats. We're trying to get people who have expressed an interest in a DU to attend. Although truthfully, it is being thrown together to entertain a certain Wichita DU'er when he comes up to spend the night at our house because he asked if such an event would be happening. We aim to please.

I have family stuff but that is in Piper in the afternoon and it wouldn't be a far drive from there to the Hollow. So count me as a maybe. I'll see if my boys are interested. Can I invite some other KC locals?

BTW, my youngest left on Friday for Lawrence and hasn't been seen or heard from since. If you see him running around town, will you tell him to call his mom? Thanks! :)

I really could. Unfortunately, the reverse would happen first. I'm more likely to be in line-up than they are.

Hell, you'd be the reason I'd end up in a line-up. I know you. We'd be out peacefully protesting and then you'd get into with someone, then it's off to jail with all of us. Yeah, I'd back you up and that's what would get me in hot water. :rofl:

fyi: no sight of your kid. I went to Liberty Hall and saw "An Inconvenient Truth" (again) and then we went to the Free State brewery. I looked but he was no where in sight. Okay, I stopped looking after my third beer but I did look.

He must have seen me coming & high-tailed it back because I didn't see him. I do want you to know that I gave the Free State brewery a good going over before I left downtown. It worked out though, I/we ran into a bunch of people we knew but haven't seen in a while.
