Unprecedented long line at my small Kansas town precinct. It has to be a good omen. Stuck here in the land of Oz I have seen more Kerry/Edwards and local Democratic candidates signs and bumper stickers then ever. Kerry in a Landslide!

My in laws all live in Kansas. I truly love them but my brothers in law (who never served in the military) think the war is a good thing and are supporting bush. I would get a great deal of personal satisfaction if the land of Toto and Dorothy goes big D this year. My wife is from Kansas and we have a Wizard of Oz room in our house.

That was a lot of people compared to any other elections I've voted for here! And at 2 p.m. in the afternoon! Plus I've seen a ton of signs for other Repubs here, but for some reason hardly ANY Bush signs! Now why would someone go to the trouble of getting 3 or 4 yard signs for other Repubs and not get Bush? Could it be they don't want to vote for him?
I live right outside Wichita, and we've been amazed to see more K/E signs than Bush!
