Governor Kathleen Sebelius - Saturday, Aug. 19 at the Woodland

Wyandotte County Third Saturday Democratic Breakfast will meet this Saturday, August 19, at The Woodlands, 9700 Leavenworth Road. Speaking this month will be Governor Kathleen Sebelius.

A buffet is available at 8:15 am and the program begins at 9:15. Cost for the buffet is ten dollars, which includes tax, service and tip; seven dollars for students and those with limited income.

All Democrats are welcome to attend. Reservations are requested by Thursday, August 17, but not required. Contact scottmackey04@yahoo.com or call 913-788-9328.

We had seventy-eight Democrats attend our July breakfast to hear the next Attorney General, Paul Morrison. Congressman Dennis Moore made a surprise appearance and introduced Paul.

And scheduled for our September breakfast is Mark Parkinson, the Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor.
