What part of “no” does Phill Kline not understand?

The word kicking around Johnson County last week was that the outgoing Kansas attorney general wants to be the county’s next district attorney.

Kline’s re-election went down in flames — 59 to 41 percent. That’s landslide territory, folks.

In Johnson County, where voters know him best, thanks to his four terms as Shawnee’s delegate to the Kansas House, Kline’s defeat was even more devastating — 65 to 35 percent.
