LTE KC Star > Agreed: "In all good faith they do not perceive it." |
|
In response to the KC Star's Reader Advisory Panel, for which I can find no link in their website:
I thank Michael Coleman for a little window into the workings of The Star Editorial Board. However, in the exclusive application of a single axiom to millions of “Liberals”, he over-simplifies the minds of an arbitrarily limited set of others and, thus, proves how he misses clear evidence of his own bias and inability to perceive. Apparently Coleman doesn’t see how “Men are usually seen to believe what they wish to believe. . . “ also applies to him. As is almost universally the case with those of an authoritarian mindset on both sides of the false dichotomy labeled “Conservative vs. Liberal”, he appears to be much more interested in telling others what is wrong with them rather than doing anything about the only thing he really can do anything about, his own mind and his own pre-conceptions of a world and people who are much bigger and much more dynamic than puny arbitrary labels. My praises go to The Star for their efforts to free the People from the oppression caused by politically correct stereotyping.
