TOPEKA | Is Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius hobnobbing with the illuminati?
Sebelius in June attended a gathering of the Bilderberg Group in Istanbul, Turkey. Bilderberg is an exclusive group of international business leaders, top politicians and academics from around the globe that meets once a year at top resorts. The enigmatic group is the frequent subject of New World Order conspiracy theories.
Sebelius spoke to the gathering about cooperation and consensus-building in government, according to Nicole Corcoran, her spokeswoman.
“It is a rather prestigious group,” Corcoran said. “She was pleased to be invited.”
Started in 1954, Bilderberg brings more than 100 leaders together every year at four- and five-star resorts, typically in Europe. Bilderberg’s original goal was the fostering of ties between leaders in Western Europe and the United States, but it has expanded into a sort of annual symposium of the elite.
