Next Saturday, July 19, from 7:00 - 9:30 pm, please join Democrats from Wichita and the surrounding communities for a wonderful fundraising event featuring Linda Slattery and Sen. Donald Betts as special guests. The event will be held at the Michaud Ranch, 11015 E. 63rd St. S. (east of Derby). Admission is $25. The Sedgwick County Democratic Party completed the candidate recruiting season a month ago by placing 56 Democrats on the primary ballot. Democratic candidates were signed up to run against EVERY incumbent Republican senator, and ALL except one Republican House member. Even the courthouse positions like Register of Deeds, Sheriff, County Commission and County Clerk all feature Demcrats on the ballot. Please join us, and meet these fantastic candidates, and help the Demo County Party org help these candidates be victorious.
