I saw an Obama sign in Mission Hills, Wednesday |
|
First time I've seen that. Guess that economy thingy is "trickling up."

2. There are quite a few Democrats in Mission Hills |
|
I grew up in PV and live in northern OP now, just 3 blocks west of PV. I went all through school with kids from Mission Hills. Thomas Frank is from Mission Hills. It is far from all Republican.

3. Proud, have you seen all the Obama signs on Ward Parkway? |

It brings joy to my heart. I've seen quite a few Obama signs in Johnson County, too.

the owner had agreed to my purchasing it in December 2003. But in the summer of 03 she discovered I was campaigning for John Kerry, accused me of all sorts of things I wasn't doing, and evicted me.
My neighbors in OP thought the owner was nuts.
Anyway, I bought a beautiful house in KC instead.

5. Kansans can pick up their yard signs at the Obama office in midtown KC. |
|
A big shipment just came in, and buttons and bumper stickers too. If all goes well, there should be an ongoing supply of yard signs from now until election day.

8. The midtown office is at 3100 Gillham Plaza. It's in a little strip mall |
|
on the west side of Gillham just before you get to the 31st Street stoplight if you're driving north on Gillham. It's hard to see until you're right up on it. The strip mall has an entrance on 31st Street as well, just before you get to the 31st Street stoplight if you're driving east on 31st.
Probably a good idea to call first and see what's in stock at any particular time since merchandise goes so fast once they get it in. 816-960-7143. And if anyone from Kansas would like to come in and volunteer, it would be extremely appreciated.

9. They have signs at the Kansas office too |
|
It's on Martway, just west of Lamar in the strip mall across from HyVee. They also need help with phone banks and canvassing. 913-262-9300
