WICHITA, Kan. – A Wichita businessman because the victim of “fowl” play recently.

Robert Hatter decided to dress up in a chicken costume to promote his hamburger restaurant.

He had just started to strut his stuff for the lunch hour recently when a car pulled up beside him, and a man inside the car pulled out a pellet gun and shot Hatter in the thigh.

The man sped away from the scene.

Hatter’s injuries were considered to be minor.
