Reps. Ron Lewis, Foley both elected in 1994, attend same freshman orientation, hang in for 12 years

Early in week, Lewis becomes one of first to distance from Hastert, canceling Denny's appearance

Very shortly after, Lewis' office announces that a former page is part of the investigation. Former page, now in military, sends "courtesy notification" from active duty in Iraq ?? Is this at all plausible?
(in my military days, individual calls to Congressman usually meant "help" and were definitely frowned upon)

Meanwhile, Lewis is avoiding public Q and A forums.

Any thoughts?
