I'm cautiously optimistic but... |

I really think this will be the year Northup goes down. I'm amazed that she is letting herself go down like this to be honest, I expected a nasty campaign where she combed through every single one of Yarmuth's LEO columns to paint him as a liberal (which, in my opinion of course, is why Yarmuth is so great, because he is a liberal) but she has failed to do so really. She had that one ad about the social security, marijuana, and drinking age, but really, her efforts seemed pretty lame... I thought Northup was supposedly going to comb through every single article of his and explain to voters why he is so "bad." I'm just wondering why her nasty tricks haven't been so nasty this time... maybe it is because she realizes that the supposedly "bad" things about him are what many of us in Louisville actually want?
Hopefully, assuming Yarmuth gets in (I don't want to jinx this lol), he'll stay in for a while. It would be so great for me to honestly believe that my congressman is my favorite congressman in the whole country... and while I can't say I'm a huge fan of Baron Hill and Ken Lucas, it'll be nice to see them go back to Congress too, I'm sure one of them (if not both) will be back.

1. Best of luck to you all (us all, really!) on Tuesday! |

One of my sisters is heavily involved with the Yarmuth campaign and she is hoping for the best, as well. I am living in California now, but always keep a close watch on my hometown politics. I would LOVE to see Northup go up in flames! That would so gripe my ultra-conservative other sister and father!
GOOD LUCK FROM CALIFORNIA, JOHN!!!!
