Rate the Kentucky Democratic Party in the 2008 General election

1. Definately could have been better, particularly in state house races BUT

Kentucky has many problems, not the least of which is an under-educated populace, at least outside the urban areas. Much out reach needs to be done. Many of the local Dem Exec committees are controlled by local machines, electing Dem officials locally, then voting for repubs for everything else. Sucks, but I'm not sure what KDP can do about that.

2. the state party IS/WAS a failure

we'll see what happens now that someone else as at the head...

but im sure itll be the same ole good ole boys, slide of hands, back room dealing group thats always been around... people give favors and do for their special groups of people here in kentucky.
its sad.
its all about the money.
