Is anyone in west KY having a problem getting a job? I've been looking since Augest 2004 when my contract ended at Dell. I haven't heard from anyone, in or out of state.
Am I the only slacker in this state?

my contract with IBM ended in June, and I've been sending out resumes since May. Out of 150+ resumes I've sent out, I've had all of four interviews; two phone, one VC, and only one face to face. Unfortunately, they weren't all for the same position.

I hope you get one soon. Anyone unemployed at the moment included. This sucks. Seems like the American Dream of owning a home, being owned by a cat, and saving for a tank is too much now days.

I applied at Kohl's in BG that is opening soon. Also went to a tai chi clas at a Unitarian Universalist church and someone told me that WKU has a career center. I tried for 5 damn years to get to it but I never got directions or was lied to about it. Some guy up and told me where it is. So I may be able to use my degree afterall. Sick of these $6 an hour jobs. I want a damn house already.
