Welcome to the new feature here in the Kentucky Forum: Bourbon Talk. This shall be a discussion of Kentucky's own liquor and any other "Kentucky Centric" drink, such as Ale 8-1.
First topic shall be:
What are your favorite Bourbon drinks. I'm not looking for brands here, I'm looking for drinks that have Bourbon as an ingredient. An example would be the Kentucky Derby's own Mint Julep.
For the record, my favorite Bourbon drink is an Old Fashioned.

This year we ran out of bourbon and used Mom Grand Marnier. NOT THE SAME.

a the Maker's Mark Bourbon House in Louisville I had a Kentucky Cocktail, which is Maker's and Ale-8. I must admit it was pretty good.

WR with just a bit of water. I never cared for mixed bourbon drinks. It masks the wonderful flavor of a good bourbon.
