First, turn off the TV.
go to the kerry site, download his position statements. Print them up in a clear fashion.
Buy some of the Kerry stuff like bumper stickers, a few pins for yourself and friends, just for ID purposes.
Now go to your county clerk and get some voter registration cards. They will come in handy as an excuse to engage the public.
Pick events like open air markets, street dances, concerts and start making contact and passing out literature.
bumper Stickers are easy to pass out and deliver a big bang for the buck. All you need to do is hold out the stickers. If someone makes eye contact, ask them if they'd like a sticker. It is so easy and fun.
Kerry has a form to fill out for his mailing list. Print out some of them, put it on a clip board. Take several pens with you and start to sign up people who seem interested in helping Kerry.
Also, don't forget the congressional races. We have some very good candidates. They may need more help than Kerry.
Get off your butt and make it happen.
Don't forget the Meetup this Thursday.
