Right-Wing PACs hitting hard already |
|
There's a commercial out now (I cannot remember the candidates' names, however) where some right-wing PAC pulls a Dem candidate's quotes (probably out of context) and paints him as "just another politician who thinks he's above the law". One of the quotes reads something like, "I can do whatever I want" (allegedly referring to not following laws.
They paint this Dem candidate like some horrible criminal.
Then, the music turns lighter and the made-up pretty-faced GOP candidate is shown and the narrator says, "Teacher, Mother, Values".
It's such an incredibly laughable commercial but it will probably do well in painting the Dem as some horrible wanna-be criminal.
And, some right-wing PAC called Americans for Job Security is pushing to say "NO" to the asbestos fund, quoting the American Taxpayers Union (Norquist's old group) and to call Sens. Bunning and McConnell to say no.
Well, I think we should flood their offices and demand Bunning and McConnell do the right thing and protect victims of asbestos.

Candidate X kills innocent kittens and drinks their blood. Is that someone you want to represent *you*?
Yeah, all those commercials are pretty laughable if you actually pay attention to them. I saw the asbestos commercial, and had a "mild reaction" to seeing Bunning's face. I can't believe we *re*-elected him.

2. Ah HA!! I found that quote of Perry Clark's and the context for it! >>>> |

He said he'd keep right on smoking in his office.
"I pretty much do what I want and when I want it," declared the Louisville Democrat. "I don't give a damn about the law.'' So, the horrible almost criminal Perry Clark said that about smoking in his office. What a scofflaw! A damn hoodlum, I say!

.......do you recall McConnells hand in squashing the Ca.LongShoremens strike a few yrs ago......I couldn't motivate the local Dem heirarchy to splash the issue so it went nowhere......of course his daddy-in-law is a Chinese middleman that would have had a hard time convincing his Chinese overlords to ship/unload farther south on the west coast(costs).....I watched the POS eulogizing over the death of the kid from Lebanon KY today on C-Span

It pisses me off but I can't help but think that they wopuldn't have this ammo if we didn't give it to them. At least with Woodward they would have had to dig... It makes no sense to me except for good ol boy politics... I'm gonna hold my nose and vote for Clark, but I'm hoping for the day when I can be proud of my vote again...

of course I'll get the familiar reply taken completely out of context... I'm sick of both of them... What is going on in the Kentucky Democratic party?... Why can't we take this state back?...

6. We're going to have to link Mitch with Ernie. |
|
Remember how Mitch backed away from Ernie when the hiring scandal hit? Well, we will have to reunite them.

7. Can't see where that couldn't hurt but neither of them are up for election |
|
I'd rather see if Northup could be linked to someone like Abramoff or Noe or Ney.
