Painted it in my hotel room .
looking at the pics on JF4D again and love your one of the crowd w/ Jackson Square in the background--Is that you in the silver Statue of Liberty mask? I don't recall seeing you up close --if I had I would remember! That is one great mask.

4. yeah..that's me in the statue of liberty mask |
|
I've only seen that one shot with me in it. I was so busy taking photos that I forgot to have anyone take mine.
The mask had a 'no w" sticker in between the eyeballs. I borrowed the mask from a friend.
I'll actually be using it for my Mardi Gras costume and my significant other will be an Iraqi that i'm torturing.

5. It's too bad there aren't more of you, close up |
|
That happened to my husband this time. He took all of the photos, so there aren't any of him. I hate when that happens. Every few days, I've been searching google for recently posted articles and images from the event, and more show up every time. I will watch for pictures of you, and post a link if I find any.
Happy Mardi Gras! Hated to miss the Krewe de Vieux parade...heard it was great. The girls from one of the floats were practicing at Coop's on Decatur Thursday night (after the march), playing kazoos and singing hilariously bawdy songs...We had to leave Friday. I still have a couple pieces left of a big fat French King Cake (the puff pastry with almond filling that I love), that I bought at Croissant D'Or on Ursulines. I put in in the microwave for about 10 sec. and it is almost as good as new. *sigh* wish I could blink myself down there right now...
