Actually, I rather liked it, given the general corruption in DC right now.
In fact, if there's one thing I learned in politics in the 80s and 90s, its that the GOP will quickly accuse their opponents of doing whatever nasty thing it is they're most afrarid of being caught out at.
How convenient and helpful of Louisiana to become the poster child for political corruption, while the Vice President and the former majority leader and scores of others condcut their continued looting of the country.
