Happy Mardi Gras!

I just felt the need to post that; after going to New Orleans and Louisiana schools for 22 years, I'm up in Washington DC for law school and this is the first time I've had to attend class on Lundi Gras/Mardi Gras/Ash Wednesday.

So I hope to enjoy the day vicariously through those DUers still lucky enough to have the day off to go the the Quarter or St. Charles. I'll just be in class :(.

it turned out to be a beautiful day.

There was a huge pre Katrina size crowd.

It was amazing!
