3. Final weekend - New Orleans Locations!! |
|
We're trying to have the following locations manned ALL weekend through Monday with people registering voters. The registrars office said that all forms should be turned in by 4:30 Monday. Friday will be a HUGE shopping day and Saturday will be very busy as well. I'd like to encourage EVERYONE to spend at least a couple of hours registering voters before the deadline. This is very important work and if we don't have enough people to volunteer then inevitably we'll miss people who otherwise would have signed up.
- Walmart on Tchoupatoulis (permisssion from 8am-Midnight) We got over 100 people registered there Thursday. This is a strictly non-partisan location.
- Roberts Grocery at Elysian Fields and St. Claude as well as the one Canal and Carrollton. Wednesday afternoon 40 people were registered between those two locations. There are 2 other Roberts locations and since management is cooperative, if there's enough people we should be able to hit at least one of those.
This is the final push for voter registration. We could really use your help. Just show up at the walmart to find out where you're most needed. Thanks in advance!
