New Orleans: Free Rides to the Polls

Unity 04 and Urban League have organized an effort to help with Poll Rides and Poll counting. These groups will be issuing reports at regular incriments about voter turnout. They have also contracted with 2 cab companies who will be providing free rides to the polls including handicap accessible rides. The phone number for free poll rides is 620-9645. These groups are very organized and capable for this effort. If anyone would like to join us, show up at 2322 Canal at 8 am Tuesday.
