My conservative friend really likes Mary Landrieu...

My friend is pretty much a staunch Republican, who intends on going to Annapolis next year and ultimately serving as a naval officer (which I respect very much because he's not a chickenhawk).

He says that he really likes Mary Landrieu because of her support in the senate for military pay.

He also supports renewable energy, amongst other things. Haven't quite gotten around to asking him why in god's name he thinks Bush is actually doing a good job as president since he's failed to provide our troops body armor, cut combat pay, and has no real plans for renewable energy, etc.

Maybe when he actually gets into the service, he'll see the damage that Bush has done to our armed forces, I hope.
