1. Yep, greed.
You must be right, Lucky. I paid almost $15 a pound for lobster recently. That's double what it was last year.

3. well you see thats why i'm proud to be an independent

YOU SEE SHOREBOUND THATS WHY I'M GLAD TO BE DIFFERENT THAN YOU. I didn't buy any lobster last year. but I can't get bye without gasoline so i'm forced to buy it.
we have a choice when it comes to luxuries.
I LISTENED TO YOUR FAVORITE PROGRAM THIS MORNING.I was surprised to hear knewt mentioned as being a member (in god standing) of the moral majority .my how this joker spins the truth to get his point. esp. when he tried to give the impression that knewt was more moral than jimmy carter.
If i remember" knewt " was thrown out of washington after trying for 4 years to get clinton for the very thing he was doing.
and then he mentioned the hostages that were held when "carter was president" but he failed to mention the controversy of the Reagan crew making a deal prior to the election! what a spin doctor.

2. On Friday I paid $3.03 at a Citgo in Sanford. I had passed
by the $3.09 and $3.06 places. Yesterday, I saw $2.98 in Augusta and was surprised because we haven't seen anything under $3.00 around here in well over a week. It was $3.17 at the Mobil at the Kennebunk rest stop on 95 yesterday. I have to go to Massachusetts today so I'll gas up in New Hampshire on the way.

5. Augusta area gas prices
are always lower than anywhere else in the state. My wife is up there regularly, and she always fills up. I was in Gardiner last week and found gas selling for a dime less than down on the coast.
