Maine Campaign to Impeach 4 November 2007 Yes - It is expected that the U.S. Congress will be forced to deal with the impeachment issue this week !!
However you feel about this, Tom Allen and Mike Michaud need to hear from you right away.
This week, possibly as soon as Tuesday, U.S. Congressman Dennis Kucinich of Ohio plans to force the full U.S. House of Representatives to respond to his resolution calling for impeachment investigation and action against Vice President Cheney.
Initially, our Maine Congressmen Allen and Michaud will probably be called to vote on the expected motion to "table" (i.e. squelch) the Kucinich resolution in the House.
If you want the impeachment process to move ahead, it is extremely important that you contact both Tom Allen and Mike Michaud telling them to vote AGAINST "tabling" the impeachment motion. Allow impeachment investigations to proceed to the next step.
This vote in the U.S. House is likely to happen fast - possibly as soon as Tuesday, November 6 - this week!
Phone Congressmen Allen and Michaud on Monday if possible, but early this week at the latest.
Phone Congressman Tom Allen's office in Portland, Maine 207- 774-5019.
Phone Congressman Mike Michaud's office in Bangor, Maine 207- 942-6935.
Sorry for the last-minute notice, but things are happening fast.

Many skeptics never thought impeachment would even get this far. And regardless of how Congress responds this week, more impeachment action will follow.
Thank you again. Maine Campaign to Impeach
