we left the northern part of maine at 10am and traveled till one pm. at which time we stopped in for "turkey" at one of our favorite restaurant's.(on the road)
the meal was perfect,turkey with all the fixings pumpkin pie and yeast rolls like grammy made
on holidays.
the staff were friendly,the guests were from all walks of life(hunters,truckers,couples,families with children and grandchildren.)
since we stop here frequently it was no surprise to here the buzz of happy customers raving about the food and at such good prices.
I hope you all enjoyed the day

NO I WON'T TELL YOU THE NAME : HINT GAS WAS $3.089 and thats all those in the know need to know! and the meal was $9.95 and we got a doggie bag!

Was up your way for a couple days.ran into a good friend from Calais who said that" no vote "might have been the fatal blow to keeping their youth.
the population of calais is dropping as well as washington county.On the bright side bangor is becoming a shopping mecca. Seems no matter where we are altanta,newyork city,austin texas miami or tim buc tu we run into someone from home during the holiday season. usually its last minute xmas shopping.
