Once again our beloved president sided with the oil companies fighting to keep the tax breaks and freebies for them. 40 billion (the largest profit ever recorded by a company) wasn't enough, his reasoning being to cut the corporate welfare would increase the price of gas.
what ever happened to price control? I just topped off my oil barrel to the tune of $509.50
which would have cost me $157.53 in 2001 the year he took office.
I dare say the average person has not seen his pay increase to keep pace.
