is there no public transportation near Sanford?

A relative of mine needs to go from Sanford to Wolfeboro and back on Wednesday afternoon for a great job interview, and he just sold his car and needs some transportation. Is there no public transportation in that neck of the woods? I couldn't find anything on Google. I'm 3,000 miles away, trying to research this.

Your relative's predicament, sadly, doesn't surprise me.

And even if there were something locally, it would be hard to find something from Sanford to Wolfeboro, NH. I would assume a bus would go from Sanford to Portsmouth or Boston and another one would go to Wolfeboro. That's if such a thing exists. Concord Bus Lines would be the best bet. (Used to be Concord Trailways.)
