using corn for fuel is one of the poorest returns we can get. it takes one gallon of energy to produce 1.34 gallons of fuel from corn. sugar returns 8.34 gallons of fuel for every gallon used.
switch grass yields 3-5 times that of corn and would take no acreage out of crops.
hydrogen is far to expensive unpredictable and just another scam big oil is running to keep us a captive customer of theirs.
