Just got back from Reny's after Christmas shopping. What bargains! I got a $30 Totes hand crank weather station for $10, high quality flannel sheet sets for $15, beautiful Woolrich sweaters half-off and some really cool out of the ordinary presents. If you need to find some last minute high quality gifts, Reny's will be your first and last stop. I love this store.

I Want A Blow-Up Doll For Christmas
I want a blow-up doll for Christmas. I want a girl I can inflate. I saw one like I want in a girlie magazine -- The one that I hide between my mattress and box springs. I want a blow-up doll for Christmas. Hurry up, Santa, I can't wait! I want a blow-up doll for Christmas, 'Cause I know that she'll be the perfect mate.
She must be heavy-duty to resist wear and tear. She'll come with a special set of sexy underwear. I'll dress her like a hooker, then dress her for the prom, Then let her air out, fold her up and hide her from my Mom. She won't talk so I won't have to call her on the phone. I won't have to comb her hair because it's printed on. Her lips will be shaped like an "O" and painted ruby red. I'll have to hide her from my friends -- she'll be a real airhead.
Oh, I want a blow-up doll for Christmas. I want a girl with vinyl flesh. She must have a pretty face up above her neck. The rest of her body must be anatomically correct. I want a blow-up doll for Christmas. I think I'll call her Judy or Beth. I want a blow-up doll for Christmas, 'Cause real girls, they scare me half to death!

3. Between Reny's & Marden's |
|
We Mainer's have it made. My favorite Reny's is in Bath. I just wish they still had Tom's of Maine toothpaste!

The merchandise is a little more conservative than Belfast or Bath stores......... What I like about it their exotic grocery brands. Hannaford is a little too wedded to the big corporate brands. Frequently if the food ( @ Reny's) has come from another country, it DOESN'T have HFCS, and the prices are good for a limited budget. And MArden's............I carpeted my front hall for about $4.00 with those $1.00 scraps!

Piles of books for $2.00 each. Picked up a copy of one of my all time favorites the other day. Expediation Whydah by Barry Clifford. True story of a pirate ship off the coast of Cape Cod.
