TROUT,SALMON ICE FISHING OPENS THURSDAY

Hope everyone checks the ice as they wander off shore. This could be a very dangerous opening day!

5. Went smeltin' down at Bowdoinham (Riverbend) yesterday - caught 42 *big* ones
They were all 8-10 inches long - some of the biggest I've ever seen.

Only caught 3 on the set lines - caught the rest with my jigging rod.
