the oil racket -and the rip off going on |
|
It seems we the people have no representation when it comes to unfair business tactics. It is illegal to operate a monopoly in the united states. And certainly when a business or any entity endangers the security of the country the government has a right to act. you say how can the oil companies effect our security-have you seen the effect on the stock market when fuel goes up a Penny, nickel or dime in a week? In the real world who gets hurt? what state, city or town's budget isn't being drained? where's this money going? not in our economy! IT'S A FORM OF ECONOMIC WARFARE! IT'S FAR MORE DEADLY IN THE LONG RUN TO THE STATE OF OUR NATION THAN ONE CAN IMAGINE. FOR WHEN WE ARE BROKE WE WILL BE UNABLE TO SUSTAIN OUR GOVERNMENT! THAT MEANS NO SCHOOLS,NO ROADS,NO AIRPORTS,NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AND NO DEFENSE BUDGET! RIGHT NOW SINCE THIS WAS PUBLISHED LESS THAN 6 WEEKS AGO: GASOLINE DEMAND IS WAY DOWN,THE STORAGE TANKS ARE FULL AND CONVERSION OF REFINERIES FOR HEATING OIL ARE AHEAD OR ON TIME ;THIS WINTER'S FORECAST IS FOR OIL PRICES TO DROP STEADILY TO BELOW 2010 PRICES! AT THE TIME HEATING OIL REACHED A LOW OF $3.149 PER GALLON. AND GASOLINE WAS AT $3.319 IN MY AREA. NOW THE LOWEST PRICE OF HEATING OIL IS $3.499 AND GASOLINE IS $3.479 !!! WE ALL NOW THE WEATHER HAS BEEN SETTING ABOVE SEASONAL HIGH RECORDS !! WE ALL KNOW GASOLINE DEMAND IS DOWN! WE ALL KNOW WE ARE BEING SQUEEZED AND WE CALL KNOW NOT ONE F--- REPUBLICAN CONGRESSMAN IS HELPING THE WORKING MAN! LETS DEMAND ACTION -LETS GET OUR COUNTRY BACK TO WORK-LETS GET THE OIL INDUSTRY UNDER CONTROL OR DIS MANTLE IT! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH WHEN OUR POOR AND SENIORS CANNOT AFFORD FUEL OR FOOD!

HOUSTON — Exxon Mobil and Royal Dutch Shell reported robust profits on Thursday for the third quarter based on higher oil prices and better refining margins.
Related Times Topic: Royal Dutch Shell Plc. Add to Portfolio MasterCard Inc Exxon Mobil Corporation Royal Dutch Shell Plc ConocoPhillips Morningstar Incorporated BP Plc National Oilwell VarCo Inc Go to your Portfolio » Earnings for the oil industry have been strong all week, especially for service companies like National Oilwell Varco and Weatherford International, which have benefited from rapidly growing drilling operations in shale oil and gas fields around the United States and a resumption of drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
Exxon Mobil, the largest American oil company and an active driller in new shale fields in the United States, Europe and Argentina, said its capital and exploration expenditures of $26.7 billion for the first nine months of the year represented a record. Still, natural gas production was flat and oil production was moderately lower in the latest quarter, disappointing Wall Street analysts.
I GET THAT LAST SENTENCE DO YOU? OIL PRODUCTION LOWER MEANS RISING PRICES AND MORE PROFIT! THEY ARE GETTING RECORD PROFITS AND WALL STREET WANTS MORE! WHEN ARE WE GOING TO STOMP ON THESE CON ARTISTS? I MEAN IF GREED IS ALLOWED TO GO UNCHECKED IT WILL BRING A NATION DOWN QUICKER THAN WAR! GET ON THESE SO CALLED REPRESENTATIVE CONGRESSMAN WE HAVE. THIS IS MAINE,HEAT IS NOT A LUXURY BUT A NECCESITY HERE. PEOPLE MAKE LOW WAGES AND CANNOT PAY HIGH FUEL PRICES AND SURVIVE! GET OFF YOUR DUFF,BACK THE 99% CREW,CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE AND FIND OUT WHAT HE IS DOING ABOUT CUTTING THE PROFIT MARGIN OUT OF THE MIDDLEMEN IN THE FUEL BUSINESS! IF HE/SHE GIVES YOU THE RUN AROUND BLOG THEM! LET THE OTHERS KNOW THEIR NOT PROTECTING THE MAINE TAX PAYER!

There is surprisingly broad consensus among Americans (except inside the corporate-dominated D.C. beltway) on what to do about deficits. In poll after poll, strong majorities favor making the wealthiest Americans, who, in many cases, have never had it so good, share the sacrifice and pay a little more in taxes. Increasing taxes on the wealthy is overwhelmingly supported by Democrats and independents. A majority of Republicans and people in the Tea Party movement also support taxing millionaires to help bring down deficits. Even many millionaires say they should be paying higher taxes. At a time when many profitable corporations pay nothing in federal income taxes, there also is widespread support for closing corporate tax loopholes. Taking a hard look at mushrooming defense spending also enjoys widespread support.
For far too long, the Washington agenda has been set by powerful corporate interests and a right wing that do not represent the needs and aspirations of most Americans. For too long, the Democrats have gone along with Republican demands and caved in to these powerful special interests. The American people are frustrated and disgusted. They want Democrats to fight back.

I decided to see what connection exxon/mobil had with irving oil if any. this is some of the things I found. E-mail this News Release If you send this link to someone else, the FTC will not collect any personal information about you or the recipient. Related Items:In the Matter of Irving Oil Limited, a Canadian corporation, and Irving Oil Terminals Inc., a corporation FTC File No. 101 0021
In the Matter of Southwest Health Alliances, Inc., doing business as BSA Provider Network, a Texas corporation. FTC File No. 091 0013
I find this interesting that I might or might not be watched because I'm researching an oil company. that I might or might not be safe if I pass this on! hmm so much for freedom of speech! And who or what is the southwest health alliances and what is the cconnection with the oil industry? Since I think you should enquire on your own if you have any interest in this I will only tell you only a partial connection was allowed. but this included 50% of the fuel depot in the portland area!
