Checking out those links, now. I'll be passing you on 95 if I have to drive it.
There are subway stations as you near DC. Can't think of the one, but one is off 95 in a small town area with good parking but you'd have to get up there super-early in the morning.

and taking the metro in from Greenbelt Station. I'll have room for two or three people to join me if they need a ride. My Dad is probably coming with me, but the back seats will be empty.
